Iru pepper soup is made with catfish and iru.

- Catfish
- Bell pepper
- Onions
- Iru
- Ground crayfish
- Condiments
- Salt
Preparation[edit | edit source]
- Cut the fish into pieces. Wash it very well with salt to remove all the slime and dirt.
- Blend the pepper with the onions to make a paste.
- Transfer the blended pepper to a pot with the iru, and allow to boil very well.
- Add the fish and the crayfish, cover, and let steam a little. Add any condiments and salt to taste.
- Allow to steam for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and serve with agidi.
